Church Blood Drive

Blood drives are conducted at Cypress Creek Christian Church during and after Sunday services three times each year and for emergencies as the need arises.
Community Friends of the Bridges
The Friends of the Bridges provide a ministry of mentoring, tutoring, leading Boy and Girl Scout troops, teaching English as a Second Language and other programs to the residents of The Bridges apartment complex.
Cypress Assistance Ministries
This non-profit organization provides services, such as financial help with rent, utilities and other necessities, to people in need. CAM maintains food pantries and thrift shops in the Cypress, Hockley and Waller areas. (281) 955-7684
This ecumenical housing ministry constructs houses for qualified low-income families living in northwest Harris County.
Interface Counseling, Inc.
This non-profit counseling organization, located in the Cypress Creek Annex Building, offers its services to the community on a sliding scale basis. It employs licensed counselors and has a first-rate reputation among Houston-area counseling organizations.
Interfaith Hospitality Network
IHN is a coalition of congregations that provide shelter, meals, assistance and compassion to temporarily homeless families. Cypress Creek Christian Church provides these families with lodging and meals for one week each few months on a rotating schedule with the other churches in the network.
Literary Advance
Literary Advance is a program conducted by the public library using the facilities of the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center. Trained volunteers tutor adults in remedial reading as well as speaking, reading, and writing English as a second language.

A community program of neighbors helping neighbors, NAM provides food, clothing, assistance counseling, job counseling, meals-on-wheels, family violence counseling, senior citizen activities, a children's clinic, a resale shop, etc., to those in need.
Nursing Home Ministry
Church members and groups regularly visit area nursing home residents and offer companionship, programs and love on a one-to-one basis and to groups.
Prison Ministry
We are looking for men who would like to spend an hour each week at the Kegan State Jail located in Downtown Houston to help facilitate the ARK for Parents classes. LB Reid and Alex Mair have been performing a wonderful caring ministry to the young men downtown who love their kids as much as we love ours. In the process, they have helped create new opportunities for these men to care for their families.
The Prison Ministry of Cypress Creek involves facilitators who are trained chaplains through the
Community of Hope classes offered by the Pastoral Care Ministry.
