The Barnabas Ministry, a new facet of the overall Hospitality Ministry at Cypress Creek, was rolled out a few weeks ago, to complement the Sunday morning Greeters and Ushers.

Barnabas was the first "greeter" of
the New Testament. He made early Christians (including Paul) feel welcome. Being greeted with a warm smile and a friendly handshake when walking into a strange new place makes it much easier, no matter where you are.
Our precious Greeters, Ushers and Barnabas folks help visitors find a bulletin, the nearest restroom, a Sunday School class or introduce them to new friends!
The Mission of the Barnabas Ministry is to ensure that everyone who arrives for our worship services receives a friendly welcome as they join us. We are the "Front Liners" to let everyone know they are loved and welcomed. Our goal is to engage visitors in conversation so we can listen and respond to their needs.
Hospitality is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place.
