We have three services each Sunday, at 8:30, 9:31 and 11:00 a.m.
The focus of all of our worship services is to bring glory to God and to support and encourage every worshipper in their journey of faith. We offer three different types of worship services:
Traditional Worship Services
8:30 a.m. in the Forum / 11:00 a.m. in the Centrum

The trademark of Cypress Creek Christian Church has always been its loving and caring, inclusive congregation and worship services. Cypress Creek has a long-standing history of meaning-filled, joyful services of traditional worship in which the message relates time-held Biblical principles to the challenges of contemporary living. Loving congregation members participate in enthusiastic singing of great hymns of the church, both past and present. Timeless choral and instrumental music are led by Rev. Clara Lewis and the
Chancel Choir in praise and thanksgiving to God, and enhance the worshiper's spiritual journey each Sunday. The
Handbell Choir, outstanding soloists, brass and a variety of instrumental accompaniments and other creative approaches to worship energize the Sunday morning experience regularly.
A weekly children's sermon and Children's Church are offered in conjunction with the 11:00 worship hour. Cheerful nurseries are provided for infants and pre-schoolers by well-trained, loving church workers and parent volunteers.
Concurrent Sunday School classes are offered for adults, youth and children at 9:40 and 10:50 a.m.
Contemporary Worship Service
9:31 a.m. in the Centrum

The focus of the contemporary worship service is to
share the unconditional love of God by leading individuals in sustaining worship through active participation.
Centered around the Celebration of Communion, the service includes contemporary Christian music fused with traditional and gospel hymns and original songs of worship and praise, sharing of the Word that relates Biblical principals to contemporary living, Children's Moment with Miss Tammy, celebration of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at the Communion Table, and an open invitation to join the family of God.
The service is led by Rev. Jo Vonna Hill and the Contemporary Worship Ministry
Celebration Team, and occasionally features the Children's Choir and the Youth band,
Altered.
Refreshments and opportunities for fellowship are offered before and after the service, and cheerful nurseries are provided for infants and preschoolers by well-trained, loving church workers and parent volunteers.
Sunday School classes are offered for adults, youth and children at 9:40 and at 10:50, following the service.
Why 9:31?

Growing attendance dictated that we move the contemporary worship service from the smaller sanctuary (the Forum) to the Centrum sanctuary in August, 2004. We also had to change the time of the service to allow sufficient time between services for "people movement" and service preparation.
During this time of growth, we were reminded of Paul's words in Acts 9:31 -- "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied."
Thus, we changed the start time to 9:31, in honor of the Holy Spirit's work.
