The purpose of the Hospital Visitation Ministry of Cypress Creek Christian Church is to provide support for hospitalized members and their attending family.
More specifically, the Hospital Visitation Ministry exists to
-
ensure that all members of the congregation and their attending family are offered the presence of a lay volunteer/lay chaplain before and during surgery;
-
ensure that those who are hospitalized for extended periods receive regular follow up visits and calls; and
-
ensure that any member, who is hospitalized for whatever reason, receives a visit or phone call.
We make every effort to be with our membership in times of hospitalization. If you will be having a surgical procedure, please let us know so that we can make arrangements to be with you before and during the surgery.
This ministry is also charged with equipping lay volunteers with the pastoral skills needed to minister to those who are in a care facility.
