Project C4: Fourfold Mission |

The term “C4" has a double meaning for us. In addition to "Cypress Creek Christian Church", it also stands for the four mission objectives of our church:
• Communicate God’s unconditional love (evangelism)
• Connect with God’s people (church fellowship)
• Care for our community (community service)
• Celebrate God with our lives (living life to the fullest)
As we did last year, we will celebrate Project C4 during the month of January. Each Sunday, we will have an opportunity to offer suggestions for our church’s Departments and Committees to review and implement, wherever feasible and possible. Your suggestions are a vital ingredient in our effort as a church to become more effective witnesses to our Christian faith.
Below is a list of some of the ideas already in place or in the process of being implemented.

Over 200 ideas have been submitted and reviewed for implementation feasibility, and many have already been put into place. This is an ongoing revitalization effort, so please continue to submit your ideas via email to c4@cypresscreek.cc |
C4 ideas that are already in place or in the process of being implemented:
- We have a new logo now visible on our web site and all print media.
- We ‘bulked up’ the Youth Ministry staff.
- We are working on a new church directory, with a target timeframe of Spring, 2008!
- The web site has been further optimized for member and visitor friendliness and search engine accessibility, and traffic has increased, and many visitors site the web site as their reason for visiting!
- Our newsletter has a facelift and new name: "Cypress Creek Caller".
eCards – including a worship invitation – are now available on the church web site at www.cypresscreekdoc.org/ecards. Use these as your personal evangelism tool!
- The Barnabas Ministry - a visitors welcoming ministry - was rolled out in March, to complement the Hospitality Ministry that includes Sunday morning Greeters and Ushers.
- The new Visitor & Information Center is now in place in the Narthex! It serves as our very visible "information central" for answering questions, giving directions, escorting people to classes, providing information packets and goody bags, etc. We also have a visitor gift bag for first-time visitors.
- Beautiful large crosses have been installed on the northwest-facing and east-facing sides of the Centrum.
- Monthly "Evening with Glenn" dinner meetings for new members were started in March!
- The Forum sanctuary has been updated with handrails and lighting!
- A pre-service announcements loop debuted in April!
